Protective film ZOOM-1.0 is designated to protect glass and ceramic surfaces, as well as sheet and silicate window glass. It is able to protect the surface from mechanical damage, chips, scratches, chemicals and many others. Moreover, the film prevents the appearance on the surfaces of mold, fungus, moss.

What is the protective film ZOOM 1.0 used for?

ZOOM-1.0 is a multifunctional film, which is suitable for almost any smooth surface. It has a high level of transparency and can be held on the surface for a long time even under the intense influence of moisture.

As a rule, the ZOOM-1.0 film model is used to protect the interior elements of decoration of the bathroom. It is pasted on smooth ceramic products, tiles, tilework, mirrors, sheet or silicate glass and other elements.

The film protects well ceramic surfaces from scratches and chips, and also facilitates greatly the process of washing them, because no stains and darkening, related to corrosion of metal elements of the bathroom, occur on the film. In addition, the dirt does not practically stay on the film, which allows you to remove it even without the use of special chemicals.

What are the advantages of ZOOM-1.0 film?

This film model has the following advantages:

  • High tensile strength
  • High level of adhesion
  • Easy to stick on the surface
  • Easy to remove from the surface
  • Does not require special skills and tools for gluing
  • Non-toxic

How to stick the protective film?

The process of film gluing is very simple and does not take much time. Firstly, clean thoroughly the surface of the objects from dirt and dust. Secondly, measure and cut the necessary size of the film.

Next, slowly stick the film, gradually separating the protective part. During the pasting you should ensure that there are no air bubbles formed under the surface of the film.

How long can the protective film last?

Properly glued film can last more than 10 years without the need for replacement.

Are used to protect:

  • Smooth ceramic products (tiles, plumbing, dishes, etc)
  • Silicate glass window sheet

INSTRUCTION

for intermediate and ultimate users on the protective films of “ZOOM” brand

1. PURPOSE OF THE PROTECTIVE FILM

1.1. The self-adhesive protective film of the “ZOOM” brand is used as temporary packing to protect smooth, matte, textural and other rough surfaces of metal, plastic, glass, wood products from damages at insignificant mechanical effects and pollution during the storage, transportation, installation.

2.TRANSPORTATION OF THE PROTECTIVE FILM.

2.1. Transportation of rolls of a protective film is made on pallets in horizontal or upright position, with obligatory interlining material made of corrugated cardboard between the rolls, in the enclosed transport protected from atmospheric condensation.

2.2. Each packed pallet must have a packing sheet, each rolls – tare label, shipment – certificate of quality.

2.3. Transportation and loading works should be carried out with extreme care to prevent damage to the rolls of protective film for mirrors.

3. STORAGE OF THE PROTECTIVE FILM.

3.1. Protective film of “ZOOM” brand should be stored in rolls in a dry, ventilated area, without direct sunlight, dust and water at a temperature of + 4 to +35 ° C, at a distance of 1 m from the heating devices, without the aggressive vapors, inflammable liquid, refined products and combustion products in the environment.

3.2. The shelf life of the protective film of “ZOOM” brand in the original packaging is 6 (six) months from the date of manufacture while observing storage conditions by the Customer.

4. APPLICATION OF PROTECTIVE FILM ON THE SURFACE OF THE PRODUCT.

4.1. During the application a protective film on the product, it is necessary to ensure the temperature of the protected surface within + 170C = + 350C and the rolling pressure of 5-6 bar, at the same time to use laminating machines with rubber-coated press rollers. This is especially important for polymer surfaces containing a large number of fillers, plasticizers, modifiers and other active additives.

4.2. The surface of the protected product must be dust-free, dry and clean, must have no traces of oils, chemicals and other foreign elements in order to avoid unsatisfactory fixation of the film to the surface of the product or partial transition of the glue when removing the film from the surface of the product. In the case of partial local peeling of the protective film from the surface of the product, it is necessary to increase the pressure and / or equalize the shaft clamp over the entire surface, since acryl is a contact adhesive, the amount of its adhesion to the surface of the product, is directly proportional to the pressure, pressing the film of the gummed shaft. The time interval from the initial adhesion (starting adhesion) to the complete fixation of the protective film on the surface of the product is 24 hours

4.3. If the protective film is exposed to negative temperatures, it must be kept in a warm room for 24 hours to a temperature of at least + 17 °C, throughout the volume of the roll, which will prevent condensation.

5. STORAGE, USAGE THE PRODUCTS WITH A PROTECTIVE FILM.

5.1. The recommended shelf life of the protective film on the surface of the product is up to 4 months from the date of application of the film on the surface of the product till the installation of the product into the structure.

5.2. Storage of the protective film pasted on the surface of the products is carried out indoors, avoiding insolation and moisture exposure, at a distance of 1 m from the heating devices, without the presence of corrosive vapors in the environment, petroleum products and combustion products, in packaged form. When storing outdoors, it is necessary to pack the package with the products with waterproof opaque material.

5.3. The operating temperature range of the protective film on the surface of the product is about 0 -40°C = + 60°C.

6. REMOVAL OF THE PROTECTIVE FILM FROM SURFACE OF THE PRODUCT.

6.1. It is recommended to remove the film from the surface of the product not later than 10(Ten) days for transparent films and not later than 30(Thirty) days for opaque coloured films, after installation of the product into the structure.

6.2. Produce the process of removing the protective film from the surface of the product at temperature of the surface of -10°C to +25°C. Preferably remove the protective film smooth translational movements. If the surface of the film is heated by direct sunlight to a temperature above + 25°C, it is recommended to cool the film with a rag moistened with cold water and only then remove the film with a smooth translational motion. In case you have missed this step and traces of glue are formed on the surface of the protected product, it is recommended that quickly, avoiding dust getting on the sticky surface, wipe the surface with a cloth moistened with solvents from the list, which by the method of selection do not dissolve the polymer surface of the protected product: ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, 646, acetone, Cosmophene solvent, ethyl, methyl and isopropyl alcohol. After that, wash the product with water with detergent. Paint on the colored rags should not dissolve by the above chemicals and leave marks on the surface of the washed product.

6.3. When removing from the surface of the product, it is forbidden to heat the protective film with any heating devices, especially heating devices that emit combustion products.

6.4. Removal of the protective film from the surface of the product begins from the end of the short side of the product, gradually folding the film into a roll along the entire length of the short side to give mechanical strength and convenience to the holdsite of the film, gradually moving to the opposite short end of the product. The effort to remove the protective film in this case, is distributed over the entire width of the protective film, excluding breaks even in places of damage of the protective film.

7. NOTE.
